Dr. Rodríguez earned her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology, graduating Magna Cum Laude with honors, from Florida International University in Miami. She earned her Master of Arts (M.A.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in Neuropsychology/Health Psychology from Fordham University in New York City, where she was awarded a Presidential Scholarship from the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.

Dr. Rodríguez conducted her Master’s degree research on the impact of neurocognitive functioning, ethnicity, and literacy on neuropathology diagnoses in HIV-positive adults, under the supervision of Monica Rivera Mindt, Ph.D., A.B.P.P. Her dissertation research, mentored by Warren W. Tryon, Ph.D., focused on investigating the predictors of neurocognitive performance and adaptive functioning among children with autism spectrum disorders.

At New York University (NYU) Langone Medical Center’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, Dr. Rodríguez completed a neuropsychology externship, where she administered neuropsychological batteries and participated in bilingual WADA testing and wrote neuropsychological reports for pre-surgical inpatient and non-surgical outpatient adults with treatment-refractory epilepsy. During her externship at NYU Langone Medical Center’s Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine and work at the Stephen D. Hassenfeld Children's Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, she assessed pediatric and adolescent patients diagnosed with cancer, traumatic brain injury, neurodegenerative disorders, developmental disabilities, and learning disabilities. These evaluations were conducted for diagnostic purposes, educational placement, and associated treatment planning including recommendation of related services for NYC Department of Education meetings

Dr. Rodríguez completed her American Psychological Association-approved Pre-Doctoral Internship at the Institute for Child and Family Health, in Miami, Fl., where she conducted psychoeducational testing and individual and group psychotherapy sessions with parents and pediatric patients diagnosed with developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, and comorbid diagnostic psychological disorders. She went on to complete a post-doctoral fellowship in forensic neuropsychology at a private firm based in Miami, Fl. under the supervision of Charles Golden, Ph.D., A.B.P.P., A.B.C.N., where she worked closely with clients who reported neuropsychological injuries as a result of accidents, medical malpractice, and negligence. Dr. Rodríguez continued her fellowship training at a private practice in NYC under the supervision of David Salsberg, Psy.D., D.A.B.P.S.

Dr. Rodríguez is a member of the American Psychological Association Clinical Neuropsychology Division 40, Hispanic Neuropsychological Society, and the New York Neuropsychology Group.

Dr. Rodríguez is a New York City Department of Education Certified Bilingual (English/Spanish) Independent Evaluator.

Stephen Reich, Ph.D., J.D. is both a forensic psychologist and a clinical psychologist. Before becoming a psychologist, he was a lawyer. He graduated from Columbia College and Columbia Law School, and is a member of the Bar of the State of New York, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the Supreme Court of the United States. During his legal career, he was both an Assistant Attorney General of the State of New York and a Lieutenant in the Judge Advocate General Corps of the United States Naval Reserve. He thus had experience both prosecuting and defending.

In 1968, he was awarded a United States Public Health Fellowship and received an M.A. in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Fordham University. After his graduate studies, he was awarded a Fellowship in Clinical Psychology at Cornell University Medical College, and was then appointed to the Faculty of the Department of Psychiatry (Division of Psychology) at Cornell University Medical College (now known as Weill Cornell Medical College). He was also appointed to the Attending Staff at The Payne Whitney Psychiatric Clinic of The New York Hospital (now known as New York Presbyterian Hospital). For nearly four decades, he was on the Faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College and on the Attending Staff of Payne Whitney Psychiatric Clinic of the New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Dr. Reich was one of the early participants in employment assistance psychology, and for nearly two decades was a psychological consultant to the Consolidated Edison (ConEdison) Employment Assistance Program, which provided psychotherapy to all employees of Con Edison (both union and management). For more than two decades, he has been a co-clinical Director of the Senior Citizens Care Group, which provides psychological services in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

Throughout his career, because of his legal background and legal experience, he has been a forensic psychologist. He is the founder and the Director of the Forensic Psychology Group. His vast experience as a forensic psychologist in diverse areas of the law (personal injury, medical malpractice, immigration, employment discrimination, criminal, and military courts martial) can be viewed at www.fpgexperts.com. He has been asked to evaluate individuals in all of these areas, and to testify as a witness at trials and hearings. In addition, he has frequently been asked by the media (tv, radio, print journalism) to comment on numerous psychological topics.

Dr. Reich has been in private practice as a forensic psychologist and clinical psychologist (psychotherapy and psychodiagnostic assessment) for more than four decades. In his psychological partnership with Dr. Isabel Rodriguez, he will clinically evaluate individuals with traumatic brain injury as the result of accidents or medical malpractice, and will present his clinical evaluations of those individuals at trial along with Dr. Rodriguez, who will perform neuropsychological testing of those individuals.
